The last 24 hours were good, fast sailing--winds
between 15 and 20 knots on a broad reach--a bit of a roll, but not too bad--seas
are up a bit this morning and will grow--that's why we left Bequia a couple of
days earlier than planned--but we'll be getting increasing shelter from the
swell behind Puerto Rico and the DR. We should be in harbour sometime tomorrow
morning--about 150 miles to go. Maybe have a shower today, so I don't smell too
bad for the welcoming committee.
Lovely sunny morning, enjoyed breakfast--and dinner
last night was very tasty--so all is well on Simanderal.
Better break off and scan the horizon--I'm on watch
and Ger's asleep!
