Clearly enjoying ourselves too much for the blog writing!!
After Andrew, Alex and Emma left us in Vigo/Santiago, Ger and I spent a
few lazy days in Baiona--lovely town and enjoyed the Yacht Club.
We left on 29th and headed for Portugal--Viana do Castelo a good intro to
Portugal--small town/narrow streets/ancient buildings etc. Then to
Povoa--and a day in Oporto by train--spectaculat setting for any city.
Onwards to Figuera--not so interesting--and Mike's Marina in Nazare for a
couple of days with a couple of forays into the interior.
Arrived here in Cascais on 6th and plan to stay about a week--spent
yesterday in Lisbon and today strolling round Cascais--will be joined by
Andrew and a few of his mates this evening for dinner--he's in Lisbon for
a wedding!
