We've been here for nearly a week now--lot of work done--serviced engine, generator, water-maker, toilet etc., loaded with fuel and cleaned underneath the hull. But in between we've been swimming, visiting the Darwin Centre and partying with other crews. On Wednesday we set off on a 5 day cruise of the islands on a small cruise ship--36 people--and a guide--looking forward to it.
Lots of wildlife--sea lions perched on the backs of boats, lots of fish, saw a shark in the anchorage--not a dangerous one--peculiar birds, iguanas etc. All very comfortable with people--you can walk up to a bird and it doesn`t fly away!
