Navadra Island, Mamanuca Group, Fiji

Another beautiful anchorage in paradise [pics] (deu-eng)

We want to head a bit further North so despite having hardly any wind, we are off to the next Island. It's uninhibited, but there are 4 other boats in the anchorage.

And gorgeous corals. Unfortunately, still having problems with the underwater camera.

We wanted to head further up to the Yasawa Group, but the weather forecast as of Friday shows wind from SE for the next 10 days or so.

Great for continuing up the islands - but very bad for returning back to Musket Cove.

We'll leave Andromeda there for the Cyclone Season - actually already on September 9th, so we'll have a lot to do to prepare her and don't want to have to beat into the wind for 80nm.

So we decided this morning to already start our trip back and motored in totally flat sea the 10nm to Castaway Island/Monoriki I.

Will check out the snorkeling tomorrow and then probably continue SE. However, if it really is blowing here tomorrow, the beach would do pretty well to launch a kite...
