Hut Point, Punta
Maroma, Mexico
22.-24.2.2011
After two weeks in the Marina in Puerto
Morelos we made a little sail trip down to Hut Point, only 9nm South. Weather
and wind were wonderful and had a great sail.
The anchorage behind the sheltered reef though was not as quiet as we had
thought.
We had a strong current which made snorkeling impossible and swimming quite a
challenge.
And party Catamarans with loads of tourist and loud music thought it’d be
fun to have a close look at us – got a feeling how the monkeys must feel
in the zoo.
However, still had 2 wonderful days and got a
lot of projects done and Andromeda prepared for our visitors. Michael even got
two nice kiting sessions in – and I had my second kiting class!
