Tucked into a big sandy beach close to Pie del Gigante, NI
4.12.2012

Wind was up and down all day, and also shifting quite a bit. Winds from 8-22 knots, partly bumped along with 3kn, then great sail with 6-8 knots.
Caught several jacks and tunas (the not so tasty ones), but released them all.
Dropped the sails with sunset and set the anchor with the last daylight just 3 and half nautical miles NW of Pie del Gigante.
Michael the curageous one checked the anchor and swam ashore to do his stretches as he had missed them this morning.
At least now I now there are now jellyfish etc. I never really like to jump into the dark unknown. Usually need a day to get used to a new location, especially when it's dark.

We're hearing some bass from ashore. Should have anchored in front of that resort or fancy hotel instead of this deserted beach :-)
However, shore is rocky and probably not the best to dry to go ashore in the dark first time.
