It has been a while since I last put an entry into the blog. Now that we have sold Sea Topaz I have been debating whether to carry on with the blog or not. To be honest we have no idea how many people actually look at it. So here we go an update of our whereabouts.

We have been in our bach in the Bay of Islands since October. We celebrated Christmas with Ewan, Jem and the kids as well as Denise and Nick this year who arrived in their boat "Sold the Farm" in November after 2 years sailing across the Pacific. The boat is on a mooring buoy just below our house. So we see a lot of them while they are sorting their lives out with selling the boat, getting jobs and finding somewhere to live.

We are keeping busy with the landscaping around the cottage. This has turned into a big project with Lee our contractor/friend. We removed the water-tanks and septic tank and put new ones in buried in the ground this time. We have had to put in a few retaining walls and will soon be planting trees, shrubs and plants.

We are still finding time to swim, paddle-board, use our kayaks and sail on Denise and Nick's boat while it is still here. Enclosed just a few pictures with the progress on one side of the house.

We'll be here till April.
