We moved a bit further this time; again into wind
so no sailing.
This is yet another beautiful spot: white sand spit
with blue water. Same program: snorkeling before lunch (same story on the state
of the coral) , island and beach exploring in the afternoon. This time we
ventured into the woods watching out for snakes (did not see any). Again lots of
tracks of pigs and deer on the beach (but did not see any of those either).
There was one other yacht with us this time so we invited them for drinks. They
left this morning, but we decided to stay another day and explored (and
snorkeled) another small island on the other side of the channel. Also time to
do some chores like baking bread, laundry and some boat jobs.
Late this afternoon we intend to light a fire on
the beach (clear up some drift wood so it is a bit easier for turtles to come up
the beach) and cook our supper.
