The last passage for this year. We finally got some wind and are on our way. We did 165 miles in the first 24 hrs; not bad.
Unfortunately we have no wind instruments as the wind vane on the top of the mast got damaged in some severe thunderstorms we had while we were anchored off Oyster Island Resort. So we have to guess how strong the wind is by looking at the ensign and the tell tales.
We have really enjoyed Vanuatu, would could have stayed a lot longer; but the cyclone season has started so we do not want to hang around any longer.
We hope to stop for 24 hrs at Chesterfield Reef and then arrive in Bundaberg around the 17th.
