We spent a few days with Denise and Tim at "The Mount".
The weather has been variable from hail to glorious sunshine.
Unfortunately Denise is pretty busy at work, but she did
manage to find the time to take Duncan paddle boarding, both of us mountain
biking, swimming in hot pools, walking around thermo activity areas, to name
just a few. We have also done some gardening, house maintenance and cooking. We
took an evening walk up the Mount and were amazed at how many young
people run up and down for excersice. Yesterday we took a four hour
hike in Karangahake gorge and met up with an old friend from the past (Eric) for
supper. Tomorrow we go north again for a long weekend on a private
island.
