This time we anchored off Neil Island; a relatively small island that is inhabited.  We slowly sailed the short distance with the no 1 Genoa up. There are a number of nice beaches here with small resorts. We went ashore and ordered lunch at the resort off nr 1 beach near where we were anchored. Duncan's lunch arrived, but mine never did, so we left unimpressed and still hungry after a long wait. The reef we snorkeled was pretty much in the same state as the others: bleached in 2011 and just recovering in small patches. In the evening hundreds of people appeared on the sand spit to take photos of the sunset, which was unremarkable in our terms.
We stayed just the one night.
