Yes we are still in Fakarava, it is a big atoll. We had two days anchored off the village. Duncan, Ewan and Jemima very much enjoyed the drift dive in the pass. We anchored off a hotel/resort for a few days and had a lovely meal onshore. Did some lazing on the beach and snorkeling. Also a wonderful setting to work on your boat. We moved on along the coast for about 12mn and anchored just the two boats off a remote area of the atoll. We collected several shells, saw sharks around the reef where we snorkeled and explored the land. Last night we arrived at the southern pass after a lovely sail. We have had little or no wind for several days, so the gentle wind was very much appreciated. This is a lovely spot, we have several black tip reef sharks swimming around the boat and the parrot fish were very keen on the stale bread that went overboard this morning. The water is beautifully clear. Duncan, Ewan and Jemima have gone diving this morning. We hope to do a drift snorkel in the pass with all five of us, that is if the men can get Ewan's outboard fixed. The outboard has been a bit unreliable. After we have done all that we will move to Rangiroa where we will meet up with Stefan (my nephew) and his girlfriend.
