Our last stop in Greece was Kos Marina from where we checked out. We had a good sail from Astypalea and stopped for one night in Vathi Bay on Pserimos, which was very pleasant.
While walking around Kos we were staggered by the number of Syrian refugees that were hanging around. We also saw a large number of the flimsy dinghies many of them had arrived in. Once they are in Greece they get processed to get refugee papers and then they are sent to Athens from where they are free to go to the country of their choice.
We did some provisioning, mainly pork, and had a few very nice meals out.
