Launching of sea Topaz

Sea Topaz

We are finally in the water! It took a long
time to get it all sorted. The alignment of the propeller took three days, the
engine and generator are serviced and after two more days of engineers on
board all are now working. When the weather clears we will do a sea trial.
So we are not on our way yet. Probably Tuesday. We are expecting a new water
pump for the fridge on Monday and then leave on Tuesday, all being well. We
have a slip organized in Norfolk with an OCC port officer.
The weather is foul, wet, cold and 35+kts at the moment.
Time to find the sun again.
We had a great time here with many frustrations, but we
met many really nice people. Most of those will be going south with
us.
