Sea Topaz was in good order when we got back to Aktio in
the middle of May. Later we did find out that the batteries were not well looked
after and that we had to get new 24 v ones.
It took us two weeks to get her ready for the water.
While we were in Aktio we met up with Bog of Highland Duck who was in Cleopatra.
We spent many happy evenings in the local restaurant enjoying their excellent
food and wine.
On the 31st of May we were launched back into the water;
very efficiently.
Bob lent us a helping hand getting the engine going,
then after a cup of coffee with buttercake, we were on our way.
We spent the first night at Lefkas town quay. Did some
provisioning and went back to the Light House again for a meal.
Yesterday we had a gentle sail to Abelike bay, where we
are now. had our first swim, all just perfect! It is good to be back on the
water.
Today we go to Sivota to meet up with Chris and Griselda
Lavender (old army friends) who have chartered for a week.
