After just over a week of dodging reefs and visiting various islands we have now arrived at Musket Cove, our last stop (almost) in Fiji. we have very much enjoyed the Yasawa Islands. The Blue Lagoon was amazing. Some of the other anchorages were a bit roly with the swell. One anchorage off some inhabited islands we had all to ourselves for the night. We are now in Musket Cove, Malolo Lailai. Duncan was here 26 years ago with a company of Gurkhas. We visited the village today and did our sevusevu. The chief still remembered the Gurkhas, Duncan said his thanks for looking after them all those years ago. Plantation Island Resort has grown considerably and Musket Cove Marina did not exist 26 years ago. We will move from here to the main island Viti Levu to provision and check out with officials. We also hope to meet up with Steve again to say goodbye. And then it is on to Vanuatu.
