Well, the passage has come to an end. We had two
nice days, the rest was wet, wild and windy. But we are now safely on a mooring
buoy in Savusavu and the sun shines and the salt caked oil skins have been
washed. A number of officials have been onboard and we are now legal and allowed
to go ashore. We are tired but happy. We did manage to catch a small tuna just
before dark last night.
We would have arrived at around midnight, but the
weather was not good, it rained and it was very dark so we laid-a-hull and
waited until daylight.
We now have a week here before flying to UK for
Kirsten and Mark's wedding and will leave Sea Topaz here for the month that we
are away.
