The tour by local boat was interesting, but not great. We were taken to an area where there were lots of fruit bats. These are big, hang in trees and fly around during the day as well as night. We were taken ashore after that, we had to get into the water to our waist. That was not easy as the landing areas was full of rocks. We walked up a hill and sat in a hide out for more that an our waiting for a komodo dragon to come and eat the goat that was hung up off a tree. The dragon did not show up. Next thing was a boat trip to a lovely beach for snorkeling. We got very wet and cold during the trip and the snorkeling was disappointing. The beach was lovely. Then back to our own boats.
We left Riung this morning. We did not go very far and are now anchored on our own in a lovely bay for the rest of the day. We'll move further west tomorrow.
