We sailed all day yesterday, which was nice. During the night we had the motor on again to get us through the strong current of the Gulf Stream, which we had to cross. We are now sailing again gently and hope to arrive at Chesapeak tomorrow morning.
We had 6 False Killer Whales around the boat in the afternoon. They did not stay long enough for a photo. They are a bit like oversized dolphins. They are playful and like to ride the bow wave. We were probably not going fast enough for them. Beautiful creatures about 6m long.
Then early this morning we had some bottlenosed dolphines swimming with us for a short time. They were bigger than the ones in the med.
That was the excitement for the last 24 hours.
