We have been busy since we arrived in Bundaberg. We
arrived on Thursday morning the 18th after about 22 hours of motoring. But all
in all it was a good passage.
Checking in went without hassle, did not loose too
much food and stuff. We are now settled in the marina, have bought a car, but
have not managed to sort out internet yet. Bit frustrating. The weather has not
been great, it is blowing about 30 kts here and has been for a few days and will
go on for a few more days. Just happy that we got in before this wind picked
up.
The plan now is to lift the boat out of the water
on Monday, there is always much to do to put the boat to bed for a while. We are
hoping to set off on our trip to Sydney around 8 Dec and slowly work our way
south. We are taking the house of a friend of Ewan's over on the 17th and will
be there until the 10th Jan, house and cat sitting.
