Back in Phuket we rented an apartment for ourselves and all the stuff we had to move from the boat to give access to the work men who are replacing our teak decks. Well that is just the biggest part of the renovations. Work has started and they are making good progress. First they put up a tent to keep out the rain and the sun, then they started to rip off the teak, after that the plywood underneath, which was well glued and screwed on. We have some time after the guys leave at five o'clock to do some work ourselves. Today is Sunday when we have access to the boat, but unfortunately there is no electricity today so we cannot use power tools to deal with rust patches  on the now easier to get to areas and the deck, but are forced to relax and do other things.
