We are on the move again having spent 15 days in
Puerta Del Rey, Puerto Ricco.
We had to stay that long as I went to Holland for
a week to help my mother move house. Getting there and back was horrendous, but
that is another story. It was a family effort and she is now nicely set up in a
small new house in the same village.
Duncan stayed on Sea Topaz and made the most of
the time on his own by doing his open water diving. He also did various jobs on
the boat of the never ending list. There are still plenty left for a later
date.
At the moment we are sailing in very deep waters:
7/8000m deep! The colour of the water is a deep dark blue. Weather is good, but
not much wind, so progress is slow. We are hoping to get to Grand Turk, Turks
and Caicos Friday/Saturday. No stress.
Sailing in the Turks and Caicos and the Bahamas
is going to be different with very deep waters one moment and less than a meter
under the keel next. Should be good, will let you know with some pictures next
time.
