This is the the third evening in Cairns. We had a
great sail from Fitzroy Island. Cairns is a city full of restaurants and bars.
This is a holiday weekend so the place is buzzing. Also an opportunity to do
laundry, stock up on provisions and meet up with friends, who are doing the
same thing as us. Denis left this morning on a flight to Brisbane and then on to
Thailand. It was great to have him on board this last week. Lots of talking
about the good old days.
Tomorrow we are on our way again to Darwin. A long
way to go.
