Baby grand daughter has arrived!

I had not realised that it is more than a month ago that
I last put something on our blog. Since Christmas we had been waiting for the
arrival of our first grandchild. She was due on Jan 4th and did not arrive until
Jan 15th. It was not an easy delivery for Kirsten and it took a long time,
but in the end all was well and beautiful Lanah arrived into the world. Since
then we, but mostly just Ria, have spent a lot of time in Poole to do what
mothers do in this situation and do the cooking, cleaning, shopping, and giving
moral support. Kirsten, Mark and Lanah are doing very well. We also had a photo
shoot with a professional photographer who is a friend
We have delayed our return to Sea Topaz until 18th of
Feb.
In the meantime Duncan has converted the old bathroom
into a laundry room; we have even bought our very first dishwasher to take the
space of the washing machine in the kitchen.
We just hope the winter weather holds out until we have
gone... (famous last words!!)
