The last stop in Australia. We did not have much wind for our last stretch into Darwin so we motored. We did make it in time to get into the lock of the marina before dark and at high tide. We are now in an area of still water, surrounded by two storey buildings; very safe. We were met by Jim and Barbara, who we have not seen since New Zealand. We are having fun with so many friends around us. The second evening we went to the beach for the Northern Territory Day fireworks. That was a spectacular performance. Yesterday, Saturday, we went into town to book a hire car and accommodation in the Kakado National Park. Today walked into town to have Yum Cha in a Chinese restaurant; we were ten, so it was good fun. We also managed to do a few jobs today. Tomorrow we'll have to go into town again to see customs, Indonesian Embassy and various other things. The date for departure and the start of the Sail Indonesia Rally is 23 July at 11.00 hrs.
