Our time in Darwin is coming to an end. The first
week we finished some jobs on the boat, did some shopping, sightseeing and
catching up with friends.
We hired a car and went to Kakadu National Park
where we saw lots of cave paintings, fabulous views, birds and crocodiles; the
latter we saw on a Wetlands cruise. We walked and swam in croc free pools in
some rivers. We used our tent again, which was great.
Ewan and Jemima came over for a long weekend. They
met some of our friends, joined in in some of the social events and we watched
crocodiles jump in the Adelaide River and walked and swam in Litchfield National
Park.
Now we are back at getting the boat ready;
painting, provisioning etc as well as attending the social events of the
Rally.
This is our last day in the marina, tomorrow we
anchor in Fanny Bay and the Rally starts at 11 o'clock on Saturday. Indonesia
here we come.
