After two days and two nights at sea we arrived in Vava'u, Tonga. We left Niue on Saturday morning and arrived here on Tuesday morning, Yes, that does not add up, we lost Monday 14th... we crossed the dateline.
Duncan went diving on the last day in Niue and snorkeled with whales. It was an amazing experience that he will not easily forget. These humpback whales are so docile and gracious. We had a good sail to Tonga, but it rained when we arrived. The weather has cleared up now and I have managed to get a lot of laundry out to dry. It is wonderful to be here and meet up again with many boats we have come across previously. There are a good few bars here were we can catch up with all these friends we have made. We are also catching up on some admin like emails, internet and sail repair (the main sail this time).
We will stay here a few more days and will then go out and explore some of the islands in the Vava'u group.
