The visit to the boiling lake on Dominica was
interesting. We sailed from Rupert Bay to Rousseau from where we visited
Trafalgar waterfalls. We felt by then that we had done Dominica and moved on to
Martinique.
In St Pierre I showed Ewan and Denise the effects
of the volcanic eruption there in 1902. We had one night there, then one night
in Anse Mitan on the way to Marin.
We met up with Rene and Brigitta of Tao, which we
all very much enjoyed. We hired a car and explored the island. We were hoping to
leave today for St Lucia, but it being Sunday customs is closed so it looks like
tomorrow. Logic has gone ahead without Ewan. Denise is out
windsurfing.
