We are tied up in the little harbour of Bozburun. It was
very quiet when we arrive yesterday, but the place filled up towards the
evening. It is always entertaining watching other boats anchor and taking lines
to the quay, as I am sure others watch us. Two floatillas came; one Dutch one
and a Neilson one, who we used to sail with when the kids were
younger. We had a lovely meal again in one of the many
restaurants.
The winds have been very gentle and we have only had the
foresail out once. We stopped in a different bay each day: Selimiye Koya, where
we free anchored in 30 m and went ashore in the dinghy. Then Kocabahce for lunch
and a swim with the evening in Dirsek bay tied onto the quay by the restaurant.
All beautiful bays and each one a little bit different, but with clear, cool
water.
