It took us two days and nights to get to Belitung from Kumai. We took it slowly to get out of the river and then managed to sail for most of the rest of the day and well into the night, which was great. But day two was no wind and motoring again. When we got to Belitung we found three other boats there. This is the only place were we anchored last year as well. We had to stop here to check out of Indonesia. That is what we did today, all very easy and straight forward with the help of Johnny, one of Raymond's contacts. We also did some shopping, but the best thing today was visiting the SD Regina Pacis School, the school of the two teachers we made friends with last year. Lastri and her husband Daniel came to see us yesterday and today we met up with Efline at the school. This evening she came with some friends to say goodbye and to give us some beautiful material from South Sulawesi.
Tomorrow we will set off for Malaysia, which will take about four days. So goodbye Indonesia, we have had a great time.
