We have been in New Zealand for more than two weeks and are having a great time. We are staying with Ewan and Jem and have spent quality time with our grandson Stanley. We have spent a bit of time doing jobs on "The Land" which we have christened "Uta Pati Farm". Planted more trees and prepared an area for some earth moving soon.
We brought a Thai "Spirit House" with us in a big box to put on the farm once the house is build to provide protection.
We met up with Denise two days in a row on a field trip with her students. First day was in Leigh and the second day on the island of Tiritiri, which is a conservation area for birds and trees.
Last weekend Denise had organised a bach in Whangamata for all of us to be together and for us to get to know Tim, het boy friend. We had a great time, the weather was kind and Duncan and the youngsters did some paddle boarding while Oma went for a walk with Stanley in the pram.
