Our last night at anchor was wonderful. We managed to
find some lovely islands that had not been taken over by tourists. They were
there but they all left by 5 o'clock. At low tide there was a lovely white
beach, which totally disappeared at high tide. The islands also had amazing rock
formations. One was like a chicken head.
There was a lot more wind so it was much cooler.
Unfortunately the wind was on the nose to get us to Krabi. To get into the
marina there is a 4 mile track through shallow water, fortunately we had the
waypoints and it was high tide so we go into the river and mangrove system and
found the marina. It is a new one and very well designed. We have three days to
strip the boat again and then a few more days on the hard before we fly to UK
and then Holland for Oma's 90th birthday.
