We are sailing....
After a few days in the marina in Finike where we got Sea Topaz ready and did some provisioning, we managed to get out and do some sailing. The first few nights we spent in one of our favorite anchorages from 10 years ago: Civeniz Limani. Although it was a lot more crowded with gullets of different sizes we still enjoyed it. Duncan even did some SUPping. This morning we moved to the ancient site of Phaselis. We got here early to beat the crowds, and just as well we did. We could not believe it! More than seven big "pirate ships" arrived with loud music blaring. Some of them were three stories high. That was apart from the usual gullets; it was mayhem..! Fortunately it did not last long, by 2 o'clock they were all gone and peace returned. We then got into the dinghy and visited the ancient ruins, which we enjoyed.
Tomorrow we go back to Finike for a few days.
