We have new teak decks and the job is finished. The boys did a great job and we are very pleased. They also replaced, grab-rails, toe-rails and hand-rails, cockpit grating, cockpit coaming and the teak around the hatches; as well as the Formica in the galley. It has been a major upheaval, but it was well worth it. Everything is back in place. We had a little party for the boys on the foredeck to say thank you.
We have packed up the apartment and some bags and have gone to New Zealand to see Ewan and Jem and baby Stanley and Denise and Tim.
We had a good flight with a stop over in Hong Kong where we were met by Frankie and Colin, who took us out for lunch. It was a lovely surprise when Ollie joined us too. A nice way to kill 5 hours, before flying on to Auckland.
We are now enjoying being with our kids and also the cooler weather.
