We had a phone call at 05.30 this morning from Alex
to say that they would come to the boat to take some photo's before we left.
Just after 07.00 we were on our way having sail goodbye to our Banggai friends,
breakfast and getting the boat ready to go.
By lunch time we had found our perfect island: long
white beach, not a soul in sight and very clear water. We anchored in 20 m sand
and coral and could see the bottom.
We went snorkeling after lunch, the visibility was
amazing. The coral was nice but not very colorful, but we have never seen so
many fish in one place. Mostly very small, but very colorful. We then walked
along the white beach and found a few big tiger cowries and a helmet conch
shell. Nice sunset, chicken penang for dinner and now we are set for a quiet
night. Tomorrow we'll try some other islands.
