Still in Bora Bora, but the weather has improved in
that it is sunny and much less wind.I even got sunburn when working on the aft
deck. So we decided to stay a bit longer in this gorgeous spot on the
south-east of the island. We went snorkeling yesterday and could not believe the
clarity of the water, the best we have ever seen. There was not that much to see
even though it was rated as the best snorkeling in Bora Bora. Duncan did see
eight spotted eagle rays after I had given up.
So we are looking at the weather and wait for some
more wind for our four day passage to Raratonga. Yeh, yeh the wind never seems
to be there when you want it. We will go back to the Bora Bora Yacht Club and do
some provisioning and get water and move on west, finally leaving French
Polynesia.
