We did all the necessary things in Papeete, like sail makers, hardware stores and chandlers. Did some more provision shopping and sightseeing. It was very frustration at times as the Polynesians do not need much of an excuse to close their business. I also managed to have my hair cut and get a Polynesian tattoo. We decided to go back to Moorea to wait for Ewan's crew to arrive this coming weekend. The anchorage is more quiet and the water is cleaner to swim in, although I cannot swim for a week to let the tattoo heal. So we'll carry on with jobs on the boat, both technical and domestic in these beautiful surroundings. There are a good few boats here that we have met before somewhere along the line so it is also very sociable.
We will stay here until next weekend, go back to Papeete to pick up Jeremy and Mao and check out with port officials. On Monday we will split up: Logic will go to Raratonga and we will go to Huahine.
