We are still in the same place. Sea Topaz has not moved, but we have. We joined the "Seaman II", a very smart 29 m motor catamaran, for a four day cruise around the islands. We left Sea Topaz in the hands of our capable agent Tuomo from GOS and set off last Thursday 26 March. We first visited the biggest Island Isobella, around the western side, visiting several places, including Fernandina Island, then we crossed the equator again, this time south to north, and had to make a wish. We rounded Isobella in the north and motored on to Bartolome Island. The volcanic scenery here was amazing. The last day we stopped at Plazas Island, before we headed to St Christobal where we left the Seaman. From there we took a fast boat back to St Cruz and Sea Topaz.
We found her in good order. We however were suffering from upset inners and took a few days to be able to eat normally again.
We are now working hard on getting ready to leave tomorrow. We have got our paperwork sorted and are nearly ready for the big trip. Not much wind forecast so it should be a gentle one.
The Galapagos have been a fantastic experience, but we are ready to leave this anchorage where we have been rolling for over two weeks.
