We spent one night in another anchorage off Tioman, nice and quiet all on our own. We then sailed overnight to Kapas Island, heavy rain squall on the way, off course this always happens at night. We picked up a mooring off Kapas Island at 08.00 hrs. Again a lovely anchorage. There are several resorts ashore and many white sand beaches; one nearest to us where big turtles had recently laid eggs. Unfortunately we did not do much swimming as there were just too many jelly fish around the boat, with enormous tentacles. We did do some snorkeling without being stung. One evening we had a very nice meal in a rustic resort.
Yesterday we motor-sailed the 10 miles to Terengganu, where we are now in a newish, empty marina with a couple of other boats we know.
Ewan and Jemima are on their way, we expect them later this evening. They will be with us for just about one week.
