Hi All

Work on the new ice-maker housing is finished, and Nicholas’ cave has been well used the past couple of weeks. Totally dry, and most importantly out of the constant sun.

My new kayak is inflated and I’ve had much fun using it. Unfortunately after a few uses, I was harassed by a shark, circling me and hitting my kayak with its tail, circling and swimming fast towards my stern. It gave me quite a scare, not knowing if I should paddle hard or stop altogether. I did paddle hard direct for Meshugga and got there quite out of breath and a little shaky. I’ve had a second encounter now, and am a bit wary of paddling, as googling says best to be in a crowd, as sharks usually only attack single kayaks.........which they seem to mistake for a large fish in distress.

Off an another walk across the island, this time on a path I’ve not done before

Back across the northern path, this man made wall always intrigues us.
