We did an overnight sail from St Martin to USVI, St John of about 100 miles. In 25 knots True wind, downwind, we could not hoist our Main as we’d sail too fast and arrive in darkness, so we only hoisted a Genoa and did a slow, 6 knot divinely relaxing sail overnight and through next day, arriving in St John late morning to clear Customs and Immigration in Cruz Bay
