Next morning we upped anchor and continued south.
This chart show the numerous bommies and rocks. We were sailing with a one reefed main, and full Genoa doing over 9 knots for our whole trip.
Bypassing a bommie
Great day sail to Flamingo Cay
On arrival we anchored in the Fourth Bay from the North, and saw this poor sight of a wrecked yacht about 200 meters away
Just around the corner we spotted this cave, so went to investigate
Deep water so we dinghied in
An interesting hole to climb up through to see what out there
Many Soursop bushes laden with fruit
Ashore, over the sand dunes and through the beach scrub are pools of salt water. The edges dry with sea salt
Ashore, yacht wreck debri littered the beach
This is the outer bag of their life raft.
The sea is ruthless in stripping everything out of the yacht
Delphina joined us at our Flamingo anchorage
Take Care
