Still motoring up the Mississippi with a hellish current of 6 knots against us. Hugging the banks where the current is only around 3 kn.
Passing St Louis, we decided not to stop and we continued to push on to get out and into the Illinois River.

After St Louis, we are so thankful to be through the Lock and into the Chain of Rocks Canal where we are finally out of the current and our Speed Over Ground has increased from 3 kn to 7.6 kn
