27:20.87N 82:33.13W We arrived in Sarasota, Florida on Friday 22 September and anchored in the Intercostal Waterway between Long Key and Sarasota mainland, having entered through the New Pass Bascule Bridge. From Dry Tortugas we had two birds land on Meshugga and come inside the lounge and perch all day and night - they must have been exhausted to do this and withstand us constantly around. One of the little birds, perched on a book  New Pass Bascule Bridge  On Saturday 23rd we went out to the O’Leary’s Tiki Bar and Grill on the Bayfront Park. An excellent evening with very friendly people at the Tiki Bar. Rain soaked tables outside at O’Leary's  Nicholas at the Tiki Bar  On Sunday we went with new friend Bill to MarVista Restaurant on Long Key on his Powerboat, and thereafter back to Meshugga for swimming and drinks   Bill driving his boat, with Dana, Phil and Shilo   Dee on Bills boat   Back on Meshugga, Dee and Bill  Beautiful crane always hangs out at the dock where we go ashore into Sarasota  |
