We travelled on the southern shore of Lake Ontario 7 miles from the Welland Canal to the entrance of the Niagra River.
Toronto in the distance across Lake Ontario, approx 23 miles away
Entering the Niagra River, Niagra-on-the-Lake on the RH Canadian side, and
Old Fort Niagra, Youngstown on the LH American side
We found a delightful anchorage close to the Smugglers Cover Boat Club, who kindly extended us their hospitality and reciprocity.

After a few hours of walking round the village and cycling past all the Historic homes, we were in need of refreshments

The iconic 1864 Prince of Wales Hotel. The best preserved Historic building we saw.
