Hi All
All well aboard.
As you can see from our position, we have entered Bahamas’ waters and are
directly south of the Great Abaco Island traversing the Northeast
Providence Channel.
We had slow going night before last as a block on our Main Sheet exploded.
It took us quite a while to sort out and get a new one attached, and ended up
running all night with only a jib up.
Both yesterday and today we have lovely weather again, and the rest of our
trip continues to be all downwind. We have had a full Main and the Genneker out
since yesterday morning after getting our new main sheet block etc back in
normal work order.
We have decided to go to Fort Lauderdale to clear into the USA, and should
arrive there tomorrow, unless we make a stop at one of the outlying Bahamas
islands – to rest up.......
Take Care
