Local resident’s house with an aged person sitting on the wall.
All Mustiquians work, and all children go to school.
The island has insufficient local residents so staff are brought from other islands to work in the Homes and for the Mustique Island Company which takes care of General Maintanence, Roads, Water, Sanitation etc
Cotton Club Boutique Hotel
The island has over 100 Villas. We peaked up driveways of about 30, all well kept and maintained, and many are available for rental, upward of USD$50K per week. However all villas come with house staff, chef, gardener, vehicles, food and booze. You only need to arrive with your clothes.
I think this villa is called ‘Ultra Marine’, ....the view down the drive, through the house overlooking the bay is magnificent.
Beautiful gardens
Gardeners everywhere tending well manicured lawns and flower beds
At Ramier Bay. L’Ansecoy behind Nicholas’ head with white sand beaches. Bequia in the distance.
Our ride
Mustique Island Company offices
On the windy east side of the island
The Villa where Prince William and Princess Katherine spent their Honeymoon, and return most years with their children for summer family holidays. During these periods the island goes into ‘LockDown’ mode, where all non residents have to get permission from the Mustique Company before traveling anywhere on the island. Obviously no photos etc are permitted of the Royals.
Stunning roads beneath a canopy of trees
Beautiful Flame Trees
Tortoise Corner
Old Plantation Beach on the sheltered west side of the island with wild goats
Britannia Bay with Meshugga (behind the Palm Tree), and three other visiting yachts.
Our group (Nicholas is taking the photo) with Larry our driver. A super tour.
Take Care
