We arrived at Little Farmers Cay, our destination to self isolate, and anchored abeam it off the southwestern end of Great Guana Cay, off an uninhabited rundown resort.
Ashore we looked around the resort and it seems that they are fixing it up
Evidence of new plaster, window frames and glass, but there are no workers anywhere
This isolated ruin/fixer upper might be a Bar in the making, with a lovely beach in front of it
And to the side this BBQ area
Further along the beach is the old rusted trawler
Across on Little Farmers Cay, they have an airport for small charter planes and the runway starts right on the edge of the island on the rocks
Farmers Cay Yacht Club. Closed, no sign of any activity.
Little Farmers Cay Harbour, with local fishing boats. Ashore is a church, grocery store and a couple of restaurant, and a BTC cell antennae. Yay. We did not go alongside or ashore due to our self isolation.
The Cay is home to 55 residents mostly descendants of Chrisanna a Freed Slave from Great Exuma, who settled on the island and bought the island from the English Crown, and willed the island to her descendants.
The Bahamian government have put in roads, electricity, the airstrip and and RO (reverse osmosis) water plant.

Beautiful clear water, we swing with the tide as we are close to the Cut out to sea and the tidal current runs strong.
Lockdown is now in place for the whole Bahamas, with all flights stopped as well as the inter island ferry. Only essential services are open. We are still self isolating, and we decided to beach Meshugga and do some hull cleaning.
A long hard days work, but we did both hulls. Yay.

A good days work
We spent a few more days here just chilling, doing some boat chores, swimming to shore during slack water and walking on the beach. Not a bad spot to self isolate.
Nicholas’ finger continues to improve and the wounds are nicely scabbed over.
