We sailed from Cayo Siju late afternoon, overnight to San Antonio, Gaviot Marina Los Morros. Sailing with just a Jib up to slow our pace so that we arrive in daylight. Cocktails, waiting for the Green Flash ![]() Next morning, just before crossing the reef to Los Morros Nicholas’ large fishing reel whined and in no time he had a good size Wahoo aboard - Pickled Fish … Yum… ![]() The Marina consists of a single concrete jetty protruding out to sea with little to no protection from the sea state or wind. ![]() Ashore is a small restaurant with 4 tables, a bar, amazingly a WiFi Hotspot (where we are sending this from), and the Guardia Frontier - our reason for coming here, i.e. to clear out of Cuba. ![]() ![]() ![]() We’ll clear out this afternoon, and head north to Mobile Alabama, USA - about a 4 day sail. Chat soon, Nicholas and Dee |
