Next day we motored with the dinghy to the north side of Flamingo Cay to Horseshoe bay, as we’d heard there was an amphibious plane wreck on the beach.

We spotted something, and went ashore but on closer inspection it was a large piece of driftwood

Back at the head of Horseshoe Bay, tying the dinghy to walk the sandy beach

Beautiful beach with powder white sand

Another Yachtie Trail marker.... so I went to see if perhaps the wreck was somewhere beyond

Back on the beach, Nicholas picked me up. We did not find the wreck of the Amphibious Plane. Stunning water colors

Back on east side of Flamingo, this is the wreck of the John Davis in the second bay

Rust from the wreck has stained the sand on this beach a dirty red/brown

Third Bay from the North is Two Palm Bay

I walked the length of Two Palm beach, and found many interesting shells

This is the Trail marker for the Trail I started on Horseshoe Bay, ie where is comes out on this side of the island
